Abstract The ST-GIC-DD device is a GI-tract device that is currently under development. System is based on a Small, swallowable electronic device taken orally. Device is used for enhancing drug delivery across the gut wall. The system functions by harnessing energy-enhanced adsorbtion/absorbtion technology for improving drug delivery in the gut environment.
Application(s) Enhancing the delivery of certain drugs across the Gastro-Intestinal tract by the use of energy-enhanced adsorbtion/absorbtion technology.

Will enable poorly absorbed drugs to be administered orally.
System may be use to activate/charge certain drug formulations at the gut environment. Will enable use of lower concentrations of a given drug.
